Community204 exists as a platform for community connection, providing acts of selfless volunteerism and altruism. Our indigenous-influenced group will walk beside; support, and advocate for the community of Winnipeg, to assist people from all walks of life. We reinforce a belief in Lateral Love, Lateral Empathy, and Lateral unity with the hope to encourage an abundance of Compassion, Camaraderie, and Positivity toward all of those we engage with.
WE ASSIST WITH THE FOLLOWING :
- Provisions of basic human needs
- Residency relocation
- Peace keeping
- Safety patrols
- Receiving/providing furniture donations
- Water rescue practices/river sweep
- Harm reduction
- Group collaborations
- Cultural components
- Event setup/tear down
- Soup for the Soul Sundays
- Community events to assist and bring awareness to the marginalized and disenfranchised
- Search parties
- Human rights/advocacy
